Rocklin Police celebrate volunteer apreciation week

The Rocklin Police Department celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Week with a Facebook post earlier in the week. Volunteers help the Police and City of Rocklin Fire Department maintain a high level of service to the community by providing extra staffing and resources. "They perform a myriad of functions including front counter customer service, vacation checks, patrol assistance, clerical duties, drug take backs, shred events, traffic control, senior services, Child I.D., Hand Only CPR, mail runs, department tours, emergency call-outs, and so much more," Rocklin Police stated. "When we need them, they're there. If you see a volunteer out and about, thank them for their services!" "Our Rocklin volunteers are so amazing, and I'm proud to be a part of the team!"
