Police investigate weapon report on Rocklin High School campus

Early Thursday morning, before school, a concerned parent reported to the Rocklin Police Department that a student may have brought a weapon to the Rocklin High School campus. "We responded immediately, partnered with the school administration, and conducted a search, during which we found an airsoft gun," Rocklin Police commented. Officers are working closely with the school district to ensure the safety of all students and staff on campus. There are no reported injuries and an investigation remains underway, avoid the area until further notice. "We are grateful that the concern was reported promptly. Please remind your child that if they see something concerning, they should tell a trusted adult right away," police commented. "Thank you for your continued support in keeping Rocklin schools safe."
