Home invasion/attempted burglary in Roseville

Roseville Police are searching for suspects who committed an apparent home invasion in an apartment Tuesday night, April 28. According to police, three suspects smashed a window of the apartment while residents were inside at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Gibson around 8:45 p.m. Police were called to the scene for reports of a burglary in progress while the homeowners were inside. It is unknown if all three suspects entered the apartment; the suspects fled before they were able to burglarize the home and nobody was injured, say police. A perimeter was set up in the neighborhood west of 300 Gibson near Trehowell Drive and Castaic and several side streets while police searched for the suspects. They were described as African American men and police said they were "associated" with a minivan which was later found abandoned in the area. By 10:30 p.m., police broke down the perimeter and launched an ongoing investigation into the case.
