Lincoln Wine Fest delivers with record crowd

The Lincoln Downtown raised its historic attendance and range of selections bar on Saturday, April 25, with the 13th Lincoln Wine Fest. Lincoln prides itself as being "The Gateway to the Placer County Wine & Ale Trail." The Wine Fest, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lincoln, is designed to bring locals and visitors together to celebrate the region's flourishing wine and craft beer scene. All net proceeds go to support the club's public service initiatives. Event organizers noted a record number of Lincoln area attendees this year – 1,100 – who tasted wines from 23 wineries and eight breweries, all within a 30-minute drive of Lincoln. In addition to the libations, guests sampled bites from 16 restaurants and food providers. Additionally, the event included 45 downtown shops and festival vendors. Adding to the event's vibe were four bands playing at different locations. Event organizer Lindsey Graves said, "The Rotary Club of Lincoln is incredibly grateful for the community support that made this year's Lincoln Wine Fest such a success. From our wineries, breweries, artists, food partners, musicians and downtown merchants to every guest who attended, this event reflected the heart of Lincoln and the impact we can make together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year, so save the date, April 24, 2027."
