2 accused of high-end jewelry heist at Roseville Galleria Mall arrested

Two men were arrested for a high-value jewelry store heist at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville earlier this year. After an intensive investigation, Roseville Police arrested two suspects for the crime, which happened in the early morning hours of Jan. 31. Roseville Police said they initially responded to a report of a commercial burglary in which more than $180,000 worth of merchandise was stolen. The department launched an investigation and identified two suspects who they discovered were not only tied to this crime but additional cases in nearby jurisdictions. On March 25, Roseville Police led a coordinated multi-agency operation that resulted in the arrest of both men. Detectives also recovered some of the stolen jewelry, returning valuable property to the retailer. Both suspects were booked into the South Placer County Jail on multiple felony charges related to burglary, organized retail theft and conspiracy, Roseville Police said. Their names were not released. "This case highlights the dedication of our detectives and the power of collaboration," Roseville Police said in a statement.
