Capital Crew takes three firsts

Three local boats were big winners at the Southwest Youth Rowing Championships held at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center in Gold River on Sunday. The men's club 4+, the men's U16x+ and the women's youth 4 boats all placed first in their respective championship races. The men's club 4+ boat consisted of coxswain Dominic Gumina of Jesuit High School along with rowers Austin Paciotti of Folsom High, Trenton Randall of Ponderosa, Nolan Maloney of Oak Ridge and Mason Hudson of Granite Bay. The men's U16x+ boat consisted of coxswain Porter Higbee from Holy Trinity along with William Muenzberg from Jesuit, Zachary Keyzer of Oak Ridge, Bennett Williams from Marina Village Middle School and Logan Doherty from Feather River Charter. On the women's youth 4 winning boat were Cecilia Anderson of Granite Bay High, Lauren Mikacich and Tatum Hall from St. Francis and Isabella Roberts from Oakmont.
