Rocklin Community Farmers Market grand opening Saturday

Living Smart Farmers Market is announcing the grand opening of the Rocklin Community Farmers Market beginning this Saturday, May 23, bringing a new year-round certified farmers market experience to the community. The market will occur every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. rain or shine and will feature more than 80 curated vendors offering a wide variety of local farm fresh produce, gourmet prepared foods, handmade artisan goods, hot food, drinks, live music and family friendly community programming. The Rocklin Community Farmers Market is more than just a place to walk around and shop, it's intended to become a weekly gathering for the community to connect, support local businesses, enjoy fresh foods and spend meaningful time with one another. Attendees can expect an abundant selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs, local honey, mushrooms, microgreens, baked goods, success, spices, specialty foods and handcrafted products from local makers and artisans. The market also features an on-site food court with hot food stands, food trucks and beverages, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and browse around. "Our vision has always been to create markets that feel like a true community experience," said Marie Hall, founder of Living Smart Farmers Market. "We believe farmers markets should be more than simply a place to buy produce. They should be welcoming gathering places where families can connect, support local farmers and small businesses, learn something new and enjoy the experience together." The new Rocklin market joins Living Smart's growing network of successful markets serving Placer County and Sacramento Counties, including locations in Roseville, Citrus Heights and Folsom. "We are excited to bring the same level of excellence, energy and community connection to Rocklin," Hall added. "Rocklin is a growing city that deserves a vibrant Saturday market experience the whole community can enjoy." The Rocklin Community Farmers Market is open to the public and welcomes families, residents and visitors of all ages.
