6 arrested for organized retail theft in 2 incidents

Six people have been arrested for two retail theft incidents in Folsom, which resulted in the seizure of drugs and a stolen handgun. On Memorial Day evening at around 6:30 p.m., Folsom PD responded to the Nike Factory Outlet Store after employees reported several suspects stole just under $1,500 in merchandise and then fled on foot. Officers searched nearby trails and businesses and spotted the suspect, which triggered a foot chase. The suspect was caught and taken into custody. During the investigation, officers recovered a loaded handgun believed to have been discarded by the suspect. The firearm was reported stolen. Officers also recovered about 58 grams of fentanyl. Then, police found more suspects associated with the crime nearby. The following suspects were arrested in connection with the incident and charged with organized retail theft: Joseph Pellegrino, 18, of Sacramento; Niko Anderson Hardy, 33, of Sacramento; Travis Allen Knight, 36, of Sacramento; and Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, 37, of Rio Linda. Camarena was also charged with resisting arrest, possession of a loaded stolen firearm, narcotics sales-related charges and possession of narcotics while armed. Camarena also had an outstanding warrant. Another suspect, Christina Marie Beck, 45, of North Highlands was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. While officers were still investigating the Nike store theft, a separate theft was reported at another nearby shoe store. Officers quickly found the suspect of that crime, recovered the stolen merchandise and learned he was on probation with multiple outstanding warrants. Justin McSperitt, 37, of Sacramento was arrested for theft with a prior conviction, violation of probation and three outstanding warrants. All of the suspects were booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
