Native Sons, Daughters pancake breakfast kicks off 4th of July activities in Lincoln

Mark your calendars for the annual 4th of July pancake breakfast, presented by the Native Sons of the Golden West (NSGW) and Native Daughters of the Golden West (NDGW), and held at the Lincoln Veterans Memorial Hall, 541 5th Street in Lincoln. The funds raised by both organizations support local scholarship programs, the Lincoln Area Archives Museum, and other non-profit groups and endeavors. The breakfast has been a community event for more than 60 years. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and is located along the parade route, which starts at 9 a.m. Prices are $12 for those aged 12 and above, and $5 for those 11 and under, to help make breakfast more affordable for families. Tickets may be purchased with cash or credit/debit cards. The NSGW and NDGW extend a special thank you to Easy Company Café, 542 5th Street in Lincoln, for providing coffee.
