The Daily Nosh opens in Roseville

Many gathered on June 18 as a new chapter unfolded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Daily Nosh in Roseville. The Daily Nosh, located at 105 Vernon Street adjacent to the Randy Peters Catering and Event Center, is a breakfast and lunch house with a modern twist, co-owners Randy and Lisa Peters shared during the ceremony. The duo said the menu will be styled like a newspaper and feature a specially crafted menu, fantastic elixirs (mocktails) and wonderful cocktails. Randy Peters shared the restaurant's theme pays homage to the building's history, as it was built in 1957 and served as a Cadillac and Pontiac dealership. "We wanted to create something that honored Vernon Street," he told the crowd. "We wanted to create something that reflected that era a little bit, but it is some fun food." During the ceremony, Randy and Lisa were presented with proclamations from Congressman Kevin Kiley, Senator Roger Niello and Assemblyman Joe Patterson. Following the presentation, the Peterses, along with General Manager Tony Ziebarth, cut into three ribbons, commemorating the restaurant's connection with the Roseville Area, Rocklin Area and Lincoln Area chambers of commerce. "We look forward to all of you coming because the food is really rocking," Randy said. "I think you're going to love it. I think this is one of the best menus that we've ever put together." Ziebarth added, "I'm excited to have you all come and dine with us. Remember, it's going to be our house that we build here in Roseville; it's going to be our future together. You guys are part of our future, and this is our new chapter together." The Daily Nosh is open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
