EDH Arts Association announces 4th Fine Art Festival

The El Dorado Hills Arts Association announced the return of its fourth annual Fine Art Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the El Dorado Hills Library at 7455 Silva Valley Parkway. Admission is free. Free and open to the public, the festival promises an inspiring day of fine art, live music and family friendly activities. The 2025 festival featured more than 50 local and regional artists exhibiting work outdoors in open-air booths and inside the library's Community Room. More than 1,000 art enthusiasts attended the event. Visitors to this year's festival will enjoy the unique opportunity to meet artists, learn about their creative processes and purchase original works directly from the creators. The Fine Art Festival is a community collaboration among the El Dorado Hills Library, Friends of the Library and El Dorado Hills Arts Association, reflecting a shared commitment to enriching lives through arts and culture. From oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel paintings to sculpture, ceramics, photography, woodwork and handcrafted jewelry, the festival showcases a diverse range of artistic mediums. Artists come from El Dorado Hills and surrounding communities, including members of the Folsom and Placerville Arts Associations. Festival highlights • Live blues and jazz performances by Grant Reeves and Peter Morgan. • Kids' art activities: Hands-on creative fun for children of all ages. • Artist booths and gallery displays: View and purchase original artwork directly from artists. "It's not just an art show," festival co-chair Robert Anderson said. "It's a day dedicated to celebrating creativity, connection and community." Founded more than 20 years ago, the El Dorado Hills Arts Association is a California nonprofit organization that supports local artists through exhibitions, educational programs and public events. The association also sponsors two annual scholarships for emerging artists at Folsom Lake College. Whether you're a longtime art enthusiast or simply looking for a vibrant way to spend a Saturday, the Fine Art Festival offers something for everyone. For information, visit www.eldoradohillsarts.com.
