Celebratory event for major progress in new medical facility in Folsom Ranch

A celebratory step forward was taken on Tuesday, July 14, for the construction of an Advanced Ambulatory Care Center at Folsom Ranch. The new facility will be located at the corner of Alder Creek Parkway and McCarthy Way in Folsom. A beam signing was held on the site; this involved healthcare executives, elected officials, community leaders and partners involved with the project all signing the final structural steel beam. This construction milestone officially recognized the completion of the facility's structural framework and continued progress of the future medical campus. The AACC will include an outpatient surgery center, urgent care, advanced imaging, multi-specialty services and integrated technology such as telehealth and home monitoring for convenient care right at home. Reflecting Folsom's identity as "Distinctive by Nature," the center will be designed to combine health and wellness with the surrounding environment, providing space for preventative care, advanced procedures, and family-centered health, say project organizers. Tuesday's ceremony is the next phase of an integrated medical campus at Folsom Ranch that could eventually include an acute care hospital and additional medical office space depending on population growth and demand. The AACC is expected to open in early fall 2027.
