Lincoln Chamber promotes Tori Borst to executive assistant

The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce announced the promotion of Tori Borst to executive assistant, effective immediately. In her new role, Borst will work directly with Chamber CEO Tom Indrieri to support the organization's operations, strategic initiatives and long term planning efforts. Borst will oversee daily office management functions and serve as a key point of coordination for Chamber staff, who will report directly to her. Borst's journey with the Chamber is a example of dedication and professional growth. She first became involved as a volunteer, contributing her time and energy to numerous community events, including local parades and Lincoln's annual Fourth of July celebrations. Recognizing her talent and commitment, the Chamber officially hired her in October 2025. Since joining the staff, Borst has consistently demonstrated outstanding professionalism, exceptional people skills and strong management abilities, making her a natural choice for this leadership position. "Tori has truly grown into this role," said Mark Luster, President of the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce. "I have watched Tori develop into an exceptional leader whose professionalism, dedication, and ability to carry out the mission of the Chamber are exemplary. As executive assistant, Borst will ensure the Chamber's operations run efficiently while helping facilitate strategic planning and organizational growth. "Tori was hired back in October 2025 when our admin position became available. She was thrown into the fire immediately with our Taste of Lincoln event, our tree lighting and Christmas parade and she did an outstanding job being new to the position. We moved into our new office space which is above the museum in Beermann Plaza, which was the old City Hall. The Chamber and the City work very closely together, especially with three major events: The two parades and the wings and wheels event that's coming up in August at the Lincoln Airport," Indrieri said in an interview with Gold Mountain California News Media. Indrieri added, "So as a Chamber event, growing along with our city, we decided to bring on Serena as a part-time employee to cover the front desk and help with various projects we also converted our membership director/event coordinator to a halftime position as we now have been in our new office for four months and we have the lay of the land and what we need to function in this new space. Tori Borst was promoted to work closer with me the CEO as she is very gifted multitasker and people person. Our entire staff is excited for the future. We have our aces in their places and are ready to move forward."
