Downtown Auburn Art Walk returns Aug. 7

The Auburn Arts Commission invites the community to celebrate local creativity during the Downtown Auburn Art Walk Reception on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. This free, family-friendly evening showcases the work of 26 local artists exhibited throughout 18 downtown businesses and public venues during August and September. Visitors are encouraged to stroll through downtown, meet participating artists, enjoy refreshments at select locations and discover Auburn's vibrant arts scene while supporting local businesses. Artwork will remain on display through the end of September, allowing residents and visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the exhibition. "The Art Walk transforms downtown into a community gallery, making original art accessible while bringing people together to support our local artists and businesses," said the Auburn Arts Commission. The Downtown Auburn Art Walk has become a signature cultural event, strengthening connections between artists, merchants and the community while showcasing the rich creative talent found throughout the region. The event is hosted by the Auburn Arts Commission and made possible through the generous support of 49er Printing and The Station Public House.
