Folsom History Gala scheduled with theme, 'Time Travel Through the Decades'

A special event is being announced for the upcoming inaugural Folsom History Gala. This year's theme is called "Time Travel Through the Decades" and is described as a reimagined version of the annual History Makers celebration. The event invites community leaders, supporters and history enthusiasts to celebrate Folsom's past while honoring two individuals who have helped shape its future: William Kempton and Angelo Tsakopoulos, 2026 History Makers. Kempton is recognized for his decades of leadership in California transportation and his contributions to Folsom's parks and recreation programs. Tsakopoulos is one of the Sacramento region's leading developers and philanthropists. Together, their vision and dedication have made lasting contributions to our community. The evening will feature dining, entertainment and celebration while raising funds to support the city's mission to preserve, interpret and share Folsom's history.
