Fun at the 30th annual Greek Food Festival

On Sept. 6th, I saw happy people enjoying a beautiful day with plenty of food to taste. I was so impressed with the kindness of the people! "Over the weekend, here at St. Anna's Greek Orthodox Christian Church, we hosted our 30th Annual Greek Food Festival. Thanks be to God, this year was a resounding success as we hosted well over 10,000 community members over the weekend. Our guests were invited to experience a taste (maybe more than one!) of Greek cuisine and culture; to listen to presentations on Orthodox Christianity and to tour our Byzantine church with its stunning iconography in mosaic, fresco and carved wood; and to enjoy the company of friends and make new ones. As Orthodox Christians, we understand that our God, who is love, continually shows us hospitality, and so, through the festival, we are grateful for this opportunity to share such hospitality with the wider community.
