If April showers bring May flowers, what do Mayflowers bring? Pilgrims! That was the question my third-grade teacher posted on the bulletin board. Growing up in Pennsylvania, April was just the beginning of a rainy season that lasted through early August. Here, in Lincoln, the rain had been a nuisance to some (especially our baseball players). However, there are plenty of activities this month – from a new winery to the Easter Bunny – to distract Lincolnites from the inclement weather. Wise Villa Winery is Lincoln's newest hotspot. Wise Villa can host private wine-tasting and food pairing parties, boasting an incredible backdrop of 17-plus acres of grapes.
