5 Questions: Patrick Mummy stays symmetric in Folsom

Patrick Mummy wants to keep people happy, healthy and pain free.Mummy is the founder and CEO of Symmetry, a pain relief clinic in Folsom.Last year he moved his practice from San Diego to the Folsom area and said business is growing."I love Folsom, it's a great mix of the city and the county," Mummy said. "The people are the nicest I've ever met and people are willing to learn about what I do."Mummy created the software program, which he uses to look at the overview of the body and to better see the best way to correct symptoms."Symmetry is a physics based program that I created," he said. "It is similar to the mechanics of a car. But, in this case, we are talking about joints. I look at the body as a whole, rather than individual parts."Mummy lives in El Dorado Hills with his wife Tricia and two daughters, Jaid, 8, and Ryenne, 12. He also has two stepchildren, Rachael, 21 and Eric, 23.1. What do you like about your job?Ultimately, seeing people get better. This process is a journey, so people need to be patient and diligent. I'm like their motivational coach. 2. What are you favorite hobbies?I love to play basketball for fun and exercise. I also enjoy fishing with my two daughters.3. What is your favorite movie?Good Will Hunting. I love Matt Damon and it's such an inspirational story. It shows you can pull your socks up and get out of any trouble you had in your past.4. What are the top five songs orartists on your iPod?Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Journey, Foreigner and American Idol contestants. I am an American Idol junkie, I love these guys. They are amazing kids and so inspirational. I love watching Daniel Cook.5. What is the one thing someone would be surprised to learn about you?I'm a cousin with Billy Mummy from the movie, "Lost in Space."
