Folsom Middle School teachers and students will host a pasta feed from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the school, 500 Blue Ravine Road. Raffle prizes and a silent auction also planned. Tickets, at $25 for adults and $15 for students, can be purchased at Strings Restaurant, 1013 Riley Street or Stockman's Bank, 701 E. Bidwell Street. They will also be on sale Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bank of America in the Bel-Air Shopping Center.A golf tournament will start at noon at Empire Ranch Golf Course. The tournament will include unlimited range balls, lunch on the course and conclude with a party and raffle prizes.Although each golfer is being asked to raise $1,000 in donations, the cost of the tournament is $100 per player.Proceeds will benefit the family of John Koppel, a science teacher and coach who is battling a rare form of cancer that has no known cure. The course will include features for all riding levels. The first 100 volunteers will receive an REI volunteer T-shirt.
