He studied at Chabot College in Hayward and Sierra College in Rocklin. April 29Garden tourThe Folsom Garden Club, established in 1934, will hold the 7th Annual Spring Garden Tour on April 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tradition will feature six gardens, each one unique and yet all designed around Folsom's demanding climate and terrain.The tour is self-guided and will highlight a wide variety of plants used in gardens, which include unusual water features, garden structures, and garden art. Local businesses and individuals have donated door prizes.Proceeds will benefit the Al Aguiar Memorial Scholarship as well as the Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center Scholarship funds.The Al Aguiar Memorial Scholarship enables employers in El Dorado County to assist their employees to increase their education and knowledge by allowing the employee to be trained while working, thus benefiting the employer as well. The Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center Scholarships are for re-entry students and first-time students.
