Donald Frank "Don" Rutledge

"Don" of Auburn, entered into rest on September 26, 2005 at the age of 73 years. He is a 30 year resident of Placer County. He is known as a man who was an outgoing people person who loved to tell jokes and passionate about playing gin and poker.He served his country in the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He is a member and Past Master of the Eureka Masonic Lodge #16 and a two time Past Master of the El Dorado Lodge as well as being deeply involved in Rainbow Girls. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Santa Rosa. He worked as a Real Estate Agent and Broker for 18 years and then owned Rutledge A-Team Locksmiths in Auburn.He is survived by his wife of 47 years Rosemary. He is also survived by his children Nancyann Rutledge, Don J. Rutledge, Hilary Rutledge, and Barbara Tait, his grandchildren Genevieve, Rosanne, Rachel, Jonathon, Christopher, Nicole, Noah, Levi, Nocolas, and one on the way. He is preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly Rutledge, his brother James E. Rutledge, and his sister Audavee Siegman.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 9:30am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 450 Granite Drive, Rocklin. Interment with military honors to follow at New Auburn Cemetery. A reception will be held at Lassila Funeral Chapel's Friendship room, 551 Grass Valley Hwy, Auburn Following the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Donald F. Rutledge Memorial Fund at the Tri Coutny Bank in Lincoln.
