Donna Lee Facha

Born April 10, 1943 in Fresno, California. Was diagnosed with cancer on October 12, 2005 and was unexpectedly returned to her maker on October 20, 2005, with her loved ones nearby.Donna was the daughter of Claude & Bea Flock of Oklahoma.Donna leaves behind her husband of 20 years, Alfred Facha. She met Al over 20 years ago at the Toyota dealer in Auburn, when it was known as Johnson Toyota, and it was on the east side of Highway 49. That is where they both found happiness when they found each other.Donna also leaves behind a huge family consisting of her son Brent (Jeanne Marie) Tranberg, with grandchildren Shauna, Trever and Tyler. Her daughter Tami Jo (Mark) Undseth, with grandchildren Tj La'rie Reese, Eric, and Aaron Undseth and Apryl McCarthy. Great-grandchildren Dylan, Hannah, and Collin Undseth. She also leaves behind her step-children Mark (Ruth) Facha, with grandchildren Amber and Jeremy. Tim (Cindy) Facha , with grandchildren Riley Jean & Alley. Tim & Mark were young adults when Donna & Al married and she always treated them like her own. Tim grew to be one of Donna's best friends.Donna also leaves behind her sisters Phyllis and Claudia and their children Kevin, Stephan, Brenda, Kathryn, & Tim; her brother Mark (Anna) Alves and grandchildren Bobby & Anthony; and her brother Benny (Eileen) and their children, Randy & Sean.Donna worked many years as a self-employed bookkeeper for a multitude of businesses, most recently Raymonds Heating and Air in Grass Valley. Several years ago she went back to school to become a manicurist. Donna had been working most recently at the Robie House in Auburn, where she will be greatly missed by Carl, Donna, Danielle and Jody, her best friend, as well as her clients and all the employees.Donna always had a smile for everyone and it was hard to tell when she might be feeling blue or when she was in pain. She was too busy making sure you were OK. Donna was giving to a fault and never thought twice about helping a friend in need. Whether it was physically, financially or emotionally, she was always there to lend a hand.Donna also leaves behind her other best friends, Toni & Mickey, her Springer Spaniels that she was so proud of. Donna was a member of the Springer Spaniel Society and was well known on the show circuit for being a wonderful person and having such outstanding dogs (outstanding because they were beautiful, not because they were so well-behaved). She spoiled them rotten, just like her husband, kids, and grandkids. She has many awards and was to be the judge at a dog show in only two weeks.We are going to miss her so much. We love you mom. God bless you.Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the Newcastle Cemetery on Taylor Road at 11 AM. A celebration of her life will be held next door at the Portuguese Hall immediately following the service.
